You are a Data Warehouse Security Analyst -
- Plan, implement and maintain data security measures
- Identify risk, vulnerabilities in data warehousing tools to prevent any cyber attacks
- Guard sensitive data and determine how best to protect that data from unauthorized entities
- Understanding of data encryption and methods to apply it
- Handling PII data and applying security measures around it
- Researching attempted breaches of data security and rectifying security weaknesses to formulate security policies and procedures
- Managing, maintaining and improvising RBAC within data warehouse tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data protection requirements and implement effective solutions
- Evaluate and promote forward-looking processes, tools and technologies that help deliver high-quality and more efficiency in terms of data warehouse security
- Develop and maintain design and solution documentation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams & security teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of security measures

- Conduct security analysis or scanning to improve system compliances & governance across data warehousing tools
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can make valuable contributions to the security compliances
- Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles related to data warehouse security
What you’ll need…(Required)
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years IT professional experience
- 3+ years experience in Data Security
- Good knowledge in data modeling and database design
- Experience with managing and handling database or data warehouse security
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Experience working with cloud environments (e.g.- GCP, AWS)
- Experience with automation via any scripting such as Bash or Python.
- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
