Sr.Specialist / Expert, Data Warehouse Security Analyst

You are a Data Warehouse Security Analyst -

1. Plan, implement and maintain data security measures
2. Identify risk, vulnerabilities in data warehousing tools to prevent any cyber attacks
3. Guard sensitive data and determine how best to protect that data from unauthorized entities
4. Understanding of data encryption and methods to apply it
5. Handling PII data and applying security measures around it
6. Researching attempted breaches of data security and rectifying security weaknesses to formulate security policies and procedures
7. Managing, maintaining and improvising RBAC within data warehouse tools
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data protection requirements and implement effective solutions
9. Evaluate and promote forward-looking processes, tools and technologies that help deliver high-quality and more efficiency in terms of data warehouse security
10. Develop and maintain design and solution documentation

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams & security teams, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of security measures

1. Conduct security analysis or scanning to improve system compliances & governance across data warehousing tools
2. Stay updated with the latest technological advancement. Adapt to these changes by self-training and research work and evaluate how / where it can make valuable contributions to the security compliances
3. Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles related to data warehouse security

What you’ll need…(Required)

1. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 5+ years IT professional experience
3. 3+ years experience in Data Security
4. Good knowledge in data modeling and database design
5. Experience with managing and handling database or data warehouse security
6. Working knowledge of databases and SQL
7. Experience working with cloud environments (e.g.- GCP, AWS)
8. Experience with automation via any scripting such as Bash or Python.
9. Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills

What you’ll need…(Preferred):

1. Experience working with cloud data warehousing (e.g.- Snowflake, BigQuery)
2. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g.- Docker, Kubernetes).
