Responsibilities:
Translate business needs into technical specifications.
· Design, build, and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools) for clinical, operational, and financial analytics.
· Develop interactive and scalable data visualizations for executives, clinical, and operational stakeholders.
· Optimize DAX expressions, Power Query, and data models for high-performance reporting.
· Ensure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Row-Level Security for data governance.
· Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, cloud data lakes (AWS/Azure), and REST APIs.
· Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
· Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
· Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
· Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
· Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
· Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
· Develop and update technical documentation
Work Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
·8+ years of experience in Power BI development, including report creation, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
· Strong knowledge of Power BI service.
· Expertise in SQL, database modeling, and ETL pipelines.
· Experience with database management and data manipulation.
· In-depth understanding of ETL frameworks.
· Experience integrating with cloud-based platforms (preferably Azure).
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to data visualization and automation.
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
· Strong experience in cloud/on-prem data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Teradata, and Databricks.
· Excellent communication skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Desired Skills:
· Knowledge of Power Automate for advanced schedule/analytics pipeline automation.
· Familiarity with AI/ML deployment in Power BI.
· Microsoft Power BI Certification.
· Knowledge of Python.
· Knowledge of the healthcare domain and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
