What you will be responsible for…
- Driving Network AI use cases with cross-functional teams delivering business value.
- Identifying and defining new process improvement and or business opportunities.
- Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
- Recognizing potential Gen AI use cases and merge it with the Verizon standard of operations.
- Designing and building scalable SLM and LLM models to meet the needs of given Business engagement.
- Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, deep learning, and related fields. Contribute to the research and development of novel generative models, exploring new algorithms and methodologies.
- Managing internal/external stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Building a culture of innovation with cross-functional teams.
- Participating in internal and external forums.
- Mentoring and Molding team with guidance and support in modelling and delivery.
- Working closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Gathering / Focusing on functional and non-functional requirements from business stakeholders.
- Articulating the story behind the solution in every stage through executive presentations.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Experience working with GCP, Big Query/SQL, Python and Spark
- Experience with modelling techniques, applications, and implementations using Statistics (Hypothesis testing, Discriminant analysis, Linear/Logistic regression, PCA, vector analysis), Forecasting (Time Series), Machine Learning (Classification, Clustering, Collaborating filtering) and AI Algorithms (GenAI/NLP, Deep Learning, Cognitive Analytics, Optimization, Non-Linear Algorithms).
- Design, develop, and refine prompts for various large language models (LLMs) to achieve desired outputs and optimize performance for specific tasks.
- Conduct extensive experimentation and A/B testing on prompts to identify best practices for different use cases and model architectures.
- Research, prototype, and implement AI Agents and Agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making, task execution, and learning in dynamic environments.
- Experience in writing complex queries to extract the data to build and derive the model features to draw business insights.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate generative models into production systems. Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the deployed models.
- Documentation: Document your research, experiments, and codebase thoroughly. Create clear and concise documentation for fellow engineers and stakeholders
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Two or more years of experience in the telecom network domain.
- Two or more years of experience with developing and deploying machine learning models to production.
