Responsibilities:
- Assess requirements necessary for training or fine-tuning large langue models (LLM) for BTP ABAP
- Design, architect and implement LLM algorithms to process and analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and provide insights.
- Design and architect large scale training and deployment systems. This includes reuse and integration with BTP GenAI Hub
- Evaluate the effectiveness of user interactions and model performance continuously, iterating on feedback. Conduct experiments and performance evaluations of AI models.
- Work hand in hand with the developers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- Explore, understand, and implement most recent AI technologies, like Large Language Models, Generative AI, etc.
- Share your knowledge and educate developers to harness latest in technology for business application development.
- As the LLM models you need to work on are all ABAP code generation type of models, deep understanding of ABAP programming is mandatory, past experience as ABAP developer is a plus.
What you bring:
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related technical field and possess relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for Machine Learning
- Extensive knowledge in architecting, training and validating ML models, as well as experience in machine learning evaluation metrics and best practices
- Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multi-threaded programming, and software design principles
- Proficiency in ABAP programming language is necessary. Candidates are expected to understand ABAP development principles, SAP systems, and programming models.
- Knowledge of Python programming language is beneficial
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, emphasizing the ability to work well in global and cross-cultural team. Fluency in English is a must for this role.
