    Profile Overview

    The Sr Analyst is an individual contributor to provide data-driven analytics support to the Cost Analytics team in Merch FDS&A organization.

    The Senior Analyst should assist merchants in defending cost increases by providing data-driven insights around opportunities for price reduction. The ideal candidate should possess a robust understanding of commodity pricing, currency rate changes, and the ability to identify opportunities in payment terms, tariffs, first cost, and other cost-related factors. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, continuous learning, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, innovation, and data management.

    · Utilize hands-on experience with enterprise-level databases (e.g., Hadoop, GCP, DB2) and visual storytelling tools (e.g., Power BI, Superset).

    · Expand knowledge of business solutions, tools, and frameworks.

    · Collaborate with peers to broaden skillsets and stay updated with industry trends.

    · Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, best-practice analytical solutions.

    · Work with multiple stakeholders across locations to scope, prioritize, and develop solutions consistent with the delivery roadmap.

    · Translate business needs into actionable analytical requirements.

    · Serve as a trusted partner for business stakeholders, communicating findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.

    · Promote future-proof practices and holistic solutions.

    · Adopt new tools and techniques, identifying opportunities for enhancing analytical solutions.

    · Ensure accurate data and metrics are established for reporting and decision-making.

    · Design and develop processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.


    Years of Experience

    · Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field

    · At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role with proficiency in SQL and Power BI.

    Required Minimum Qualifications

    · Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Math, or Business.


    Skill Set Required

    · Hands-on experience working with enterprise-level databases (e.g., Hadoop, GCP, DB2).

    · Proficiency in visual storytelling with dashboards in Power BI and Superset.

    · Excellent communication skills to convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

    · Ability to translate complex business problems, goals, and objectives into actionable requirements.

    · Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to scope, prioritize, and develop solutions consistent with the delivery roadmap.
