Job Summary:
At EXL Digital, we are solving some of the most complex and impactful challenges in the AI and NLP space. We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager – AI Solutions who can drive end-to-end delivery of advanced AI and NLP solutions, particularly within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, large language models (LLMs), NLP techniques, and cloud-based solutioning, enabling them to lead multi-functional teams and interface effectively with both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of AI/NLP solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including data scientists, ML engineers, and cloud architects—to drive solution design and implementation
- Manage client engagements end-to-end, from initial discovery and feasibility assessments to deployment and monitoring
- Ensure project delivery excellence across solution lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment (cloud/on-prem), and post-deployment support
- Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating client needs into executable technical roadmaps
- Work closely with insurance clients to identify opportunities where AI/ML and NLP can unlock value
- Track KPIs, manage risks, and report progress to both internal leadership and client stakeholders
- Contribute to best practices, project templates, and delivery methodologies across the AI practice
- Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, particularly in the areas of LLMs, NLP, and cloud-based ML infrastructure
Qualifications & Experience:
- 6–10 years of overall experience, with significant experience managing data science or AI/ML solution delivery
- Proven track record of managing AI/ML/NLP solution delivery in a project or program management capacity
- Strong exposure to the insurance industry and understanding of its data, workflows, and transformation drivers
- Ability to engage in high-level discussions on AI/ML solutions (LLMs, NLP models, cloud deployment) with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment, leading multiple parallel engagements
- Excellent project management skills—budgeting, resourcing, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- MBA from a Tier-1 institution preferred
