Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, architect, and design AI models for predictive maintenance, quality control, and process optimization to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Analyse manufacturing and supply chain data to uncover patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Design and deploy machine learning, deep learning, and vision AI models for anomaly detection, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
- Integrate AI models into MES, IoT frameworks, and SAP/ERP systems to enable real-time operational insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate manufacturing challenges into data-driven AI solutions.
- Investigate and apply emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Digital Twin for manufacturing innovations.
- Guide and mentor junior data science team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Experience
8+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or industrial domains
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree – Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer)
- Master’s degree in business, Computer science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
General Requirements
Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems like MES, SCADA, or ERP.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of emerging AI trends such as Explainable AI, Federated Learning, and Edge AI.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and ability to deliver projects within deadlines.
