Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 10+ data engineers and BI developers, driving performance, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Data Architecture: Design and implement scalable data marts and pipelines using Azure and Microsoft Fabric to support marketing analytics needs.
Dashboard Oversight: Oversee development of Insightful Power BI dashboards to track and optimize marketing campaign performance
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and business teams to gather requirements, align on metrics, and deliver actionable insights.
Project Delivery: Lead planning, prioritization, and delivery of analytics projects using Agile methodologies to ensure timely and high-impact outcomes.
Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data accuracy, lineage, and compliance through robust validation, monitoring, and governance practices.
Innovation & Best Practices: Promote adoption of modern Azure/Microsoft Fabric capabilities and industry best practices in data engineering and BI.
Cost & Resource Management: Optimize infrastructure and licensing costs, and manage external vendors or contractors if needed.
Lead a team of 10+ data engineers in development of scalable data infrastructure and insightful analytics solutions to empower the marketing team with campaign performance measurement and optimization.
Skills:
9 to 12 years in the Data Engineering domain
Analytics & BI: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI
Cloud Platform: Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Functions)
Data Modeling: Star/Snowflake schemas, Tabular models, Dataflows
Orchestration: Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Pipelines
Programming/Scripting: SQL, Python (optional for Fabric notebooks)
