Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives for globally distributed teams.
• Remove impediments and coach the team to develop solutions autonomously.
• Ensure team adherence to Agile values and principles while driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and well-groomed backlog.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to plan and coordinate releases, ensuring technical dependencies are identified and managed.
• Monitor and report on key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time).
• Promote DevOps practices such as CI/CD, automation, and test-driven development.
• Champion Agile best practices across engineering, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Help implement and optimize Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Guide teams through complex problem-solving involving architecture, design, or technical constraints.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, including at least 2 years supporting technical or engineering-focused teams.
Must have Skills –
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience working closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, and product owners.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
