Business Systems Analyst

Primary tasks:

1. Work with Business Analysts from Supply Planning applications team to define the Data Lake/BI/Analytics requirements for technical Teams.
2. Design the data and analytics solution aligning to the biz requirements and architectural standards which is in a form that can be understood by developers.
3. Design test cases based on requirements to perform functional testing and system testing.
4. Help users in UAT and own resolution of any defects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's with 6+ years or Master's degree and 4+ years of experience in:
2. Supply Planning - SOP and SOE processes.
3. Designing and implementing data solutions for enterprise use cases in Supply Planning.
4. A background in semiconductor manufacturing and high-level SQL knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Designing data solutions on Snowflake, Azure Databricks, or similar environments.
2. Knowledge of Procurement, Inventory business processes.

Skills:

1. Mix of functional + data analysis skills.
2. Should have worked on database/data warehouse solutions handling the data generated in supply chain process (like SAP and other planning engines like BY).
3. Prior exposure to supply chain domain preferably in Supply Planning and Inventory management area.
4. Relevant SQL skills to be able to query and cook the data necessary for enterprise use cases.
5. Familiarity with any reporting tool (BOBJ/Power BI/MSBI/Excel pivots etc..)
6. Should be able to understand data flows from one system to the other (source to target).
7. Can login to multiple systems and check the data in them (SAP and other databases like SQL Server, Teradata, SAP HANA or Oracle).
8. Should be able to create data mockups with various data sets / elements using excel or other tools.
9. Should be proficient with excel capabilities with data.
10. Familiarity with visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards).
11. Familiarity with how security works in enterprise systems (access management, authorizations etc..).
12. Knowledge of working in SAFE/ SCRUM teams.

Soft skills:

1. Strong communicator with oral and written communication skills - have to work with cross geo team members.
2. Stakeholder management - can ask relevant and crisp questions from business as well as IT teams and influence the stakeholders to build efficient solutions.
3. Has an urge to create documentation on designs, arch proposals, and status reporting to stakeholders.
