Responsibilities:
- Requirement Elicitation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, management, and subject matter experts, to gather detailed business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, focus groups, surveys, and observations to understand and document stakeholder needs.
- Use various elicitation techniques such as brainstorming, document analysis, and prototyping to uncover requirements.
- Requirement Analysis:
- Analyze and prioritize business requirements to ensure they align with business objectives and project goals.
- Break down high-level business and user requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and conflicts in requirements and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
- Documentation:
- Create comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation to ensure it is easily understandable and accessible to all stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops to communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations.
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Assist in designing and implementing solutions that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and gather feedback to refine and improve solutions.
- Ensure that test results are documented and communicated to stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Perform data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress.
- Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including risks, issues, and changes.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment with project plans and schedules.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance business performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies that can drive business improvements.
- Training and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and training to stakeholders on new systems, processes, and tools.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
- Act as a point of contact for post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
- Industry and Domain Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to the business domain.
- Apply domain knowledge to ensure solutions align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage industry insights to inform and improve business analysis practices and outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in business administration or a related field.
· Certification in business analysis, such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
· Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and technical project management.
· Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
· Experience in Banking and Financial Services is a must. Should have led / played significant role in end-to-end digital transformation programs in Agile environments.
· Domain experience required in any of the following Banking Operations:
o Wealth and Private Banking (Retail Banking)
o Payments
o Global Banking and Markets (Commercial Banking)

· Retail lending and investing concepts.
· Mortgage
· Credit Card processes
· Contact Center Optimization experience – IVR, Browser changes under Digital channels.
· Branch optimization.

· International Payment Systems
· Open-Banking and API driven payments.
· End-to-end (E2E) payment lifecycle experience
· Corporate payments, cash management, and real-time/immediate payments
· ISO 20022 migration experience.
§ Investment and Commercial Banking (CMB)
· Corporate and cash management core products and services
· Capital flow, market liquidity
· Trade operation
· Experience in Automated Data Flow project (RBI Automated
· reporting system)
· Knowledge of regulatory related issues
