Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development, support, maintenance, and implementation of AI/ML projects within BEWS AI Engineering.
- Strategically align AI/ML units with organizational business goals.
- Provide technical programming guidance, including hands-on coding when necessary.
- Manage teams working on:
- Functional and technical analysis to address ML-driven business needs.
- Development of high-quality AI/ML applications using massive 5G network, IoT, and external datasets.
- Designing predictive models, anomaly detection systems, recommendation engines, and deep learning solutions.
- Exploring new/existing data sources and collaborating with Data Architects.
- Partnering with product teams to integrate ML models into Ericsson solutions.
- Championing new technologies in Ericsson’s MI Communities.
- Building AI/ML competencies across Ericsson businesses and customer units.
- Innovating and applying AI/ML methodologies for cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure performance and technical growth of AI teams.
- Develop hiring plans, training, and staffing roadmaps.
- Resolve critical technical and strategic issues impacting the organization.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master's in engineering. MBA or PG Diploma is a plus.
- Experience: ~15 years in the industry, with at least 5 years in managerial role.
- Technical Expertise: AI, ML, Big Data, and Analytics experience. Strong technical knowledge across AI/ML disciplines with a business-aligned approach.
- Leadership & Strategy: Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution. Strong analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working across multiple countries and stakeholders at all levels.
- People Management: Strong skills in talent acquisition, motivation, and retention.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
