Advanced Data Analyst Job Description:
This is individual contributor role and responsible to manage the Operations for some of the
Business Critical Analytics applications like Snowflake, SAP BW, HANA and along with planning
and executing the legacy Data warehouse decommission projects as per organizations Roadmap, by
migrating the user reporting to Snowflake.
- 6 to 7 Years of over all IT experience with at least 3 to 4 years in Snowflake
- Good knowledge in Data Warehouse , ETL and Visualization tools and hands on experience in at least one of the Data Warehouse applications like SAP BI or HANA or Oracle or Snowflake.
- Ability to work as Individual contributor in Analytics domain and manage the project deliverables leading group of analytics technical team from internal and external partners.
- Experience in managing at least one large scale cross functional analytics project deployment.
- Experience in working in at least one large scale Analytics Support project, with good knowledge on Incident Management, Change Management and ability to drive and manage escalations by coordinating with required business and IT Stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile Project Management
- Good business process knowledge in at least two functional areas like Order Management, ISC, Finance, Pricing, Manufacturing, procurement , Inventory….etc.
- Responsible for planning and implementing SAP BW and HANA Migration to Snowflake Cloud platform.
- Responsible to do the reporting GAP analysis for Honeywell legacy data warehouses like SAP BW and HANA wrt. Snowflake Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Prepare GAP Analysis documentation and Agile project plan to implement the GAPs in EDW.
- Responsible to ensure 100% adherence to service deliver SLA in Information Management and Analytics production support.
- Responsible to prepare end user training documentation and conduct periodic trainings as needed to improve the adoption of Snowflake EDW.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with different cross functional teams, Business leaders and IT Stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn new analytic skills, quickly adopt and contribute to Information Management and Analytics Run/ operations group goals and objectives.
Primary Skills:
- Real time experience in Snowflake and either of SAP BW or SAP HANA
- Very good Knowledge on Data Warehouse and Data Analytics concepts
- Good Functional knowledge in at least 2 of the major business functions like Finance or ISC or Order Management…etc.
- Good Communication skills and ability to co-ordinate with senior business leaders and work in Cross function multi stakeholder programs.
- Agile Project Management experience
- Must be a Graduate
